This was for the Awaken the Goddess contest. I decided to do Ma'at of Egyptian mythology. She's the goddess of truth, balance, and order. Her ostrich feather is used to weigh the heart of those who want to go on to the afterlife and she is sometimes shown on top of the scales or with her feather in one of them. So I decided to personify her as the scales and have her weighing the heart so this person's soul can go on to the afterlife.
